Children's Sunday SchoolChildren meet in the Classroom Building for music and opening at 8:45 AM. Students then separate by grade level to their own classrooms for the lesson and may be picked up from their classrooms at 9:45 AM. Sunday School lessons in May: Jesus Teaches Us to Pray, Jesus Ascends Into Heaven, God Sends the Holy Spirit, and The Beatitudes.
Lifeliners (High School Age) Lifeliners meets on Sunday mornings at 9 AM in the west side of the basement for Bible class.
Grace Iron MenThe Grace Iron Men began meeting in 2012 for fellowship and Bible Study activities. The goal of this group is for men 21 and older to encourage and support one another as we grow in faith together. Grow in Grace Class This is a great opportunity for members to learn or review the basic teachings of the Bible and it is also intended for adults who may be interested in becoming members of Grace. Wednesday Bible ClassPastor Clemons continues his study on the development of Christianity from Pentecost to today with "A History of the Christian Church from Pentecost to the Present." You'll learn how God works through history and discover the origins of Protestant denominations. Women's Bible StudyA new women's Bible study will begin May 9! Join us for a study of the book "The Narrow Lutheran Middle" by Pastor Daniel Deutschlander, who is also author of the title of " Civil Government" and "The Theology of the Cross." Topics covered include: the right and wrong uses of reason in religion; predestination; God's providence, and human responsibility; God's will and human will; the Great Commission and the public ministry; and finding the middle in "worship wars." People often favor one teaching over another or try to resolve Bible teachings according to human reason. You'll examine these topics, learning to let each teaching of Scripture stand on its own and appreciating God's will and Word.
Grace-Vail Monday Bible StudiesJoin Pastor Rieke for a journey through the book of Acts found in the New Testament. This book recounts the history of the early Christian Church. It shows how the Holy Spirit worked through the challenges that the early Christians faced to spread his gospel message. Many of these challenges are similar to the ones we face today. They are going through the book “Prepared to Answer.” Each class is a different subject, so come when you can!
