Pastor Colin Rieke

I spent a majority of my early childhood growing up in southern Africa – my dad was a missionary there for 21 years. I thought this was a normal childhood. I lived in both Zambia and Malawi until I began going to High School at Luther Preparatory School in Watertown, WI. Upon graduating high school, my dad became a pastor in La Crosse, WI. This was where I met my wife Kristin. I attended Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN, and after graduating Kristin and I got married. I continued my theological training at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary, and graduated in May, 2011.

After spending many years in the Midwest, the Southwest is a little bit of an adjustment, but a welcome one. We look forward to the warm winter weather in Tucson. I love spending time with my wife Kristin and my daughter Grace. I enjoy a variety of physical activities like running, swimming and biking, I also enjoy watching sports. Both Kristin and I are excited to be down here, sharing the same message about Jesus that Grace has been proclaiming for 100 years. We look forward to see what the Lord has in mind for Grace’s second site.
